Nanaimo-born Giants forward playing key role in team’s success

WATCH: Nanaimo product Owen Hardy is in his fourth season with the Vancouver Giants, and is a big part of the team’s hot start in the 2018-19 season.

A veteran presence in the locker room, Hardy was given the role of assistant captain this year by the coaching staff, and his leadership has helped the team jump out to an 8-1 start on the season, good for 1st place in the B.C. Division. Hardy will look to continue leading the way for the G-Men as they hope to improve on last year’s first round post-season exit.
