Belmont, Oak Bay capture Island high school volleyball bragging rights

WATCH: The Belmont Bulldogs girls volleyball team lived up to their reputation by defeating Oak Bay in straight sets to win the Island championships, while the Oak Bay Barbers boys volleyball team defeated Dover Bay in the gold medal game in straight sets to win the Island title.

In addition to the Belmont girls and Oak Bay boys punching their ticket to Provincials in two weeks, on the girls? side, Oak Bay has a chance to also make the tournament through a Wild Card game. On the boys? side, Dover Bay and Royal Bay both qualified for Provincials, while Reynolds will also have to fight through a Wild Card game in order to compete in the Provincial Championships in two weeks time.
