West Shore RCMP seek video footage of motorcycle crash in Langford

Mounties on the West Shore are hoping someone has video footage of a motorcycle crash that happened early Tuesday morning.

According to the West Shore RCMP, a motorcycle crashed near Ayton Place on Sooke Road in Langford shortly before 5 a.m. on Tuesday (June 28).

The driver, a 62-year-old male, was transported to the hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.

Mounties say although the incident appears to have been a single-vehicle crash, a witness reported to officers that a blue SUV was allegedly involved and that two other vehicles reportedly stopped at the scene.

RCMP are now asking anyone with video footage in the area of Ayton Place between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. on June 28 or anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at 250-474-2264 and quote file #2022-10895.
