WATCH: Soak in the sunshine while you can because we could see snow overnight! Ceilidh Millar has your long-range forecast.
Enjoy the clear conditions and sunshine while you can! A low-pressure system is tracking towards B.C.’s South Coast this evening. It will mix with a cold air mass in place over the Island which could result in flurries and/or snow overnight. Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Inland and East Vancouver Island. Snowfall amounts could exceed five centimetres of snow at higher elevations, before the system moves off to the south Sunday morning.
