A series of low-pressure systems will bring steady precipitation to the Island over the next few days, as conditions fall into a “normal” weather pattern for this time of year.
Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Northern Vancouver Island. Southeast winds are expected to reach 90 km/h overnight with gusts exceeding 110 km/h.
The winds are expected to diminish by Sunday morning.
