Weekend is here, and sunshine – mixed with a few showers – is here too!

The low pressure system that brought rain and wind to much of Vancouver Island mid-week has moved northward, allowing a weak ridge of high pressure to rebuild over the south coast.

That will bring some clearing to Vancouver Island, with a mix of sun and cloud for the next few days, with a 40 percent chance of a few showers on Saturday.

Temperatures will remain in the upper teens for the next few days, with overnight lows between 8 and 11 degrees.
