Warrant issued for man Nanaimo RCMP considers 'dangerous'

Nanaimo RCMP says a warrant has been issued for 36-year-old Reggie Butler.

Nanaimo RCMP are asking for help to locate a man who they say has a criminal history of violence and drugs, and is considered dangerous.

RCMP says a warrant has been issued for 36-year-old Reginald Butler, also known as Reggie Butler, for breach of a conditional sentence order.

Police warn Butler’s criminal history is extensive and should be considered dangerous, violent and unpredictable.

Butler is described by police as being 6’2″, 240 pounds with short dark hair and has many tattoos.

RCMP note Butler has a tattoo of a dagger and a fish on his left forearm, and a tattoo of a cross on his right forearm.

Nanaimo RCMP says Butler has many friends and associates throughout central Vancouver Island, but his current whereabouts is unknown.

Anyone with information on Butler’s whereabouts is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
