An investigation is underway after a group of people allegedly damaged multiple parked vehicles in the Vic West neighbourhood.

In a news release, Victoria Police say officers were called to the 700-block of Craigflower Road to reports that a group of people were damaging vehicles shortly after 12 a.m. on Friday (Oct. 21).

Damaged vehicles were found on Craigflower Road, Pine Street and Arm Street, say police, with the majority of them having their passenger or driver-side mirrors broken off.

The vehicle’s registered owners have been contacted and VicPD say the damage is estimated to be over $5,000.

Anyone with footage or information about the incident is asked to call the Victoria Police Department at 1-250-995-7654 extension 1.

Victoria Police are asking anyone with home, vehicle or business-based surveillance in the area along the red line from 11:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Oct. 20-21 to contact them at 250-995-7654 extension 1. (Google Maps/VicPD handout)
