Victoria police are asking the public for help in locating a truck that allegedly drove through Pemberton Park in Victoria, and struck a utility pole cable.

Investigators believe the vehicle entered the park in the 1800-block of Richardson Street early Saturday morning and drove off-road, exiting onto Gonzales Avenue.

The driver struck the cable while exiting the park, which tore off the vehicles passenger side mirror and door handle.

The truck is believed to be a white upscale model 2015 to 2018 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra, with damage to its passenger side.

Officers have not yet found the owner or driver of the vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to call Victoria police at (250) 995-7654 or Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
