
Victoria police are looking for a suspect after a man was stabbed at a downtown community shelter Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were called to a community shelter in the 900-block of Pandora Ave. shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday.
When they arrived, police found a man who had been stabbed and was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics took him to hospital for treatment.
The suspect had already left the area before officers arrived. Police say the suspect is a man with a heavy build, wearing a gray hooded sweater, white sweatpants, a black face mask and black shoes. The suspect was also carrying a black shoulder bag.
The investigation is still underway.
