
Victoria police say officers are searching for a man who allegedly threatened a transit operator with a knife in the Jubilee area.
The incident happened near Fort Street and Foul Bay Road, according to VicPD in a tweet posted at 4:49 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15.
Police described the knife suspect as a Black man approximately 50 years old, standing around 6’0″ tall with a slim build. He was last wearing a black cowboy hat with a feather and black clothing.
It’s unclear if anyone was injured.
In a follow-up tweet around 5:15 p.m., VicPD urged anyone who spotted the man not to approach him and call 911, and asked those with information to contact police directly at 250-995-7654.
