Victoria police say a woman has died of her injuries Wednesday after a collision with a vehicle.
The incident happened shortly before 9 a.m. as traffic officers were called to the 700-block of Hillside Avenue for a report of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle.
Police say a witness provided medical aid to the victim until the Victoria Fire Department and B.C. Ambulance paramedics arrived.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she later died.
Police are asking for any witness of the collision to contact the VicPD non-emergency line at 250-995-7654.
