A Victoria Frontrunners store discovered swastika and KGB symbols on the front, side and rear of their building during opening Sunday around 12 p.m. The store, located on the 1200 block of Vancouver Street, had the offensive symbols written with permanent marker. The owner is looking to report the incident to police on Monday. Staff do not believe the symbols are targeted at any individual and say that the incident was most likely a result of an extremely “careless” individual. “We all think this is an isolated incident,” said an employee. “It may have even been an intoxicated person.” Employees feel that there is no danger to customers.
