VicPD are searching for a lone male suspect after an armed robbery at a Subway restaurant on Thursday evening.
Officers were called in around 7:40 p.m. after reports that a man armed with a knife had held up the restaurant at Fort and Foul Bay.
The suspect demanded the contents of the register and then made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
There were several other customers and staff in the Subway at the time, but no one was hurt.
Witnesses say he was last seen fleeing northbound on Fort Street.
A K9 unit was called in to help with search, but he wasn’t located.
VicPD have not provided a description of the suspect.
