The Victoria Police Department is currently seeking the public's assistance in recovering an $11,000 custom-built mountain bike that was stolen over the weekend.

The Victoria Police Department is currently seeking the public’s assistance in recovering an $11,000 custom-built mountain bike that was stolen over the weekend.

In a report posted Monday, VicPD says that the bike was stolen from the backyard of a residence on January 9.

The residence is located in the 1000-block of Arcadia Street.

Police say the item is a light blue custom-built “Evil Offering” cycle with a number of “recognizable parts.”

These parts include carbon XX1 cranks, Saint brakes, and Rock Shox Lyrik Ultimate forks, says the police report.

The bike is photographed below.

An investigation is currently ongoing as officers hope to track down the thief.
