The weather didn’t cooperate but that didn’t stop legions of generous CHEK viewers from dropping off donations during our 24th annual Christmas Drive-Thru.
Dozens of volunteers braved the rain to help collect an estimated two tons of clothing, food and gifts as well as $2600 in cash and certificates.
All the proceeds go to the Salvation Army to help families in need in Greater Victoria.
An annual event since 1993, it was held this year in the parking lot of the CHEK building.
The Salvation Army band helped provide a festive soundtrack to the evening.
A big thank you once again to all those who gave so generously again this year.
