Victoria Police have arrested three men in connection with a double stabbing incident that sent two people to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Police say that the incident took place at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Monday, April 19 in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue.

Frontline officers say they received a report that two men had been “bear sprayed and stabbed.”

Officers responded to the scene and located two men, who appeared to be the victims of the incident. Police note that both men were suffering from potentially life-threatening injuries in the wake of the stabbing.

The men were transported to hospital by BC Emergency Health Services paramedics and, following treatment, their injuries are now considered to be non-life-threatening.

Frontline officers investigating the incident were able to identify three suspects and, shortly before 5 p.m. on the same day, VicPD located and arrested one of the suspects in Bastion Square.

Less than twenty minutes later, police say that officers located and arrested a second suspect in the 1400-block of Vancouver Street.

It wasn’t until just before noon on Tuesday, April 20, when police located and arrested the third suspect in the 900-block of Pandora Avenue.

All three men were held in police custody.
