One woman has been charged with aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing a man near Central Saanich Friday.

Const. Meighan de Pass of the Sidney/North Saanich RCMP says officers responded to the 7700 block of Central Saanich Road after reports of the incident just before 11:30 p.m.

They arrived at a mobile home trailer, and a man was taken from the scene to hospital with serious injuries — but was later released.

The woman was not on the scene, and on Saturday police obtained a search warrant for the property.

On Sunday the woman was found in Victoria and taken into custody and charged. She has also been released.

Police believe the two were known to each other, and say there is no danger to the public.

The trailer was a rental on Tsawout First Nation land, however, police say the two involved in the incident are not from the First Nation’s community.
