Officials are warning drivers of treacherous conditions on the road leading to the Mount Washington Saturday, after a storm hit the mountain.
The road up to the mountain’s resort has been closed for all of Saturday morning, after a foot a snow and heavy winds blocked lanes in each direction.
Mainroad’s says crews have been working to clear the snow all morning, and expect traffic to flow by noon.
Drivers are urged to drive cautiously, cars must be equipped with chains or they will be turned around.
High winds and limited visibility are expected to persist.
