SURREY, B.C. — Three people have been killed in a serious single-vehicle crash in Surrey, B.C.

The RCMP say at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday officers responded to a report of a crash in the southern part of the city.

Upon arrival, officers say they determined all three occupants of the vehicle were dead.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called and will be working in partnership with the Surrey RCMP.

The Mounties say the investigation is in its early stages and the cause of the crash is not yet known.

Investigators are examining the area and several roads were closed as a result.
