The New Normal: Canadians were interested in U.S. election for many reasons, says political scientist

The U.S. election and the days following Election Day captured the attention of millions of people around the world, including Canadians.

In this episode of the New Normal, CHEK’s Stacy Ross speaks with Dan Reeve, a political scientist and professor at Camosun College, about why Canadians, and the world for that matter, are so interested in the U.S. election and politics.

Reeve says the United States is the “most important” country in the world and how they operate impacts, everyone, including Canada. He also said U.S. elections are far more of a “show” and a “circus” than Canadian elections, which makes it more entertaining.
