CHEK

It’s been a tough year for the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority.

Cruise ships aren’t showing up at the ports because of COVID-19 and commercial tenants are struggling.

It all means the GVHA is facing a $3-million deficit instead of a projected $3-million surplus this year.

In this episode of The New Normal, CHEK’s April Lawrence speaks to Ian Robertson, chief executive officer of the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority about the challenges they’re facing, how they’re helping tenants and plans for the future.
