An annual study says by 11 a.m., the average CEO will have made more money than the average Canadian gets paid all year.

The report from Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives shows the gap is widening between what Canada’s top 100 highest paid CEOs earn compared to the average income of Canadians.

The study says CEO’s make an average of $10.4 million a year compared to the average income of $49,738 among Canadians.

That is 209 times more than the average income, an increase from 193 times more in the 2015 report.
