Showers for Vancouver Island Saturday, back to sunshine Sunday

A low-pressure system will cross B.C.’s south coast, bringing overcast skies and a few showers across Vancouver Island on Saturday.

Temperatures will be in the upper teens for most regions on Saturday, but climbing back into the low 20’s when sunshine returns Sunday.

Expect a mix of sun and cloud next week, with highs in the low to mid 20’s. For inland regions such as the Cowichan Valley and the Alberni Valley, highs could reach 28 degrees Sunday.
