WATCH: The Victoria Shamrocks got a much needed hat trick from veteran Rhys Duch, as the ‘Rocks took down the Timbermen in Nanaimo by a score of 8-4 in Game 2, to even the series at 1-1.
The Shamrocks were in full control from the opening face-off to the final whistle. Duch got things going for the Shamrocks, and veteran forwards like Rob Hellyer and Casey Jackson helped keep things rolling. ‘Rocks rookie Tyson Gibson added a goal and three assists to put things out of reach. For the Timbermen, they must reset and look to recreate their success from Game 1 as they get set for Game 3 in Colwood at the Q Centre on Sunday night.
