Snow may have fallen overnight in many parts of Vancouver Island, but school is still open for many today.
Greater Victoria School District (SD61), Sooke School District (SD62) and Nanaimo-Ladysmith School District (SD68) all announced Tuesday morning that schools are open.
Furthermore, SD68 says all school buses are running.
The announcements come after as much as 10 centimetres of snow fell overnight Monday in many parts of Vancouver Island.
The school districts are urging motorists to be careful and drive to conditions.
