It’s been three years since the COVID-19 pandemic sent us into an economic lockdown that drastically altered our lives and challenged local businesses. Downtown cores were among the hardest hit, with stores closed and streets deserted.  As the economy slowly recovered, retailers experienced different challenges and new opportunities.

In this segment, Bray talks about how Victoria’s downtown fared against other urban centres during the pandemic and how our local business community is faring now.
