Rebels eye momentum-swinging win this weekend

WATCH: It’s been a rough start to the year for the Westshore Rebels. A fired coach, issues on and off the field and suspensions have sidetracked the football program for the first month of the season.

With all of the sideshow activities out of the way, the Rebels are getting back to strictly playing football. A loss to the V.I. Raiders last weekend saw the team fall to 1-2-1 on the year.

The Rebels host the Kamloops Broncos on Saturday at Westhills Stadium, a game that has a lot riding on it.

Since their game was cancelled in Week 2, the Rebels and Broncos will be making up their past game as well, meaning the game counts for two wins on Saturday.

The Rebels, who haven’t won a game in over a month will look to make the most of this opportunity against the Broncos this weekend.
