WATCH: Get ready for a wet and windy start to the work week. Ceilidh Millar has your long-range forecast.

A wet and windy November day is in store for parts of the Island on Monday. A wind warning issued by Environment Canada remains in place for East, Inland and West Vancouver Island as well as Greater Victoria. Wind speeds could reach 50 to 80 km/h with gusts of up to 100 km/h over exposed sections on Monday. A low-pressure system over the Pacific will intensify this evening as it approaches, causing this potential windstorm along B.C.’s South Coast.
