Dan Lockhart, 61, has been missing since Jan. 6.
RCMP are looking for a missing 61-year-old man who was last seen in Gold River on Jan. 6.
According to Nootka Sound RCMP, Lockhart was last seen at around 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of Scout Lake Road and Burman Court. Police said he appeared disoriented at the time.
Since Lockhart’s disappearance, there has been a search of the of the wooded areas in Gold River by Campbell River and Comox Valley search and rescue teams. There has also been an aerial search of the area.
Additional searches are being planned for the next few days.
Nootka Sound RCMP are very concerned for Lockhart’s wellbeing and are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to call them at 250-283-2227.
