Periods of sunshine in store for Monday

WATCH: A ridge of high pressure will push in across the Island causing sunshine and warm temperatures for our Monday. Ceilidh Millar has your full forecast. 

We started to see that cloud cover break up late this morning with some lovely sunny conditions pushing through in the afternoon. A ridge of high pressure is building across the Island which means the sunshine and pleasant temperatures will stick around for the start of the work week. A low-pressure system to the west will bring some precipitation mid-week.
