Maxime Bernier’s party has been shut out of the 43rd parliament after failing to win in any ridings.
The People’s Party of Canada was projected to take home less than two per cent of the popular vote nationwide, and leader Maxime Bernier was projected to lose his seat in Beauce, QC to Conservative Party candidate Richard Lehoux.
No other People’s Party of Canada candidates were projected to win seats.
