Firefighter rescues dog from burning barn in Pennsylvania

A helmet camera captured the incredible and dramatic moment a firefighter rescued a dog from a burning barn in Pennsylvania.

It happened at a farm in Warwick Township, Penn., about 120 kilometres west of Philadelphia, on Saturday night.

A man tells a firefighter that his dog is inside the barn.

Without hesitation, the firefighter runs to the burning barn and calls the dog from a window.

But the dog was too scared and backed away.

The firefigther then starts ripping off the window with his hands, pulling out the glass and the frame until he could climb inside the barn.

Still unable to convince the dog to jump out the window, he picks up the dog and lifts him through the window to safety.
