Partly cloudy skies tomorrow, with rain expected later in the week

A weak ridge of high pressure managed to clear skies across most of Vancouver Island today.

More sunshine is expected Tuesday, but with increasing cloud and then a chance of showers for Victoria and southern Vancouver Island by Tuesday evening.

Temperatures will become more seasonal, with daytime highs from 3 to 7, overnight lows around zero or -1 by Tuesday evening.

Showery skies will return for most areas of the Island by later Wednesday, or Thursday.
