WATCH: Expect more rain or wet snow over the next 24 hours as the last of a low-pressure system moves across Vancouver Island.
East Vancouver Island and inland areas such as the Alberni Valley can expect another two centimeters of snow late Friday afternoon and into the night, as can higher elevations. Most other regions will continue to see rain or wet snow.
A change will arrive Saturday as high pressure builds over Vancouver Island, clearing skies, but bringing cooler temperatures, with daytime highs anywhere from zero to 3 or 4 degrees, and overnight lows from zero to -4.
