Oak Bay Police are investigating after a pricey set of bicycles and e-scooters were stolen from a home in late June.

Police say the theft occurred in the 1000-block of Transit Road sometime overnight on June 19, but the crime wasn’t reported to police until June 25.

Police believe suspects entered a detached garage on the property and stole two bikes and two e-scooters, valued at a total of $3,600.

One of the bikes – a Ralph S-XC2 bicycle – is valued at $1,300, and the other, a Rockwood Devinci Altus 9, is valued at $1,000, according to OBPD.

Meanwhile, one of the e-scooters, an Evercross e-scooter, is valued at $700 while the other e-scooter, described as a black fold up e-scooter, is valued at $600.

Police said this week that the investigation is still ongoing.
