RCMP said there have been no reports of any injuries after shots were fired at a home in the 500 block of Kennedy Street in Nanaimo Thursday afternoon.
Nanaimo RCMP have released few details but said the shooting occurred at around 2:30 p.m. Police believe it was a targeted incident.
Several suspects and vehicles have been identified by police. Numerous officers are investigating.
Police said more information will be released when available.
