Nanaimo RCMP say the 13-year-old who was reported missing on Jan. 11 has been found safe.

Nanaimo RCMP are asking the public to keep an eye out for a missing 13-year-old who was last seen on Jan. 9.
He was last seen by his family on Jan. 9, and reported missing to Nanaimo RCMP on Jan. 11. Family says his disappearance is out of the ordinary and they are extremely concerned for his safety and well-being.
Nanaimo RCMP’s school liaison unit has been involved in the search to date, but have not had success in locating him.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, and quote file # 2023-1171.
