Nanaimo RCMP ask for help in locating missing 36-year-old woman

Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help as officers try to locate 36-year-old Serenedawn Cook.

She was last seen on Friday, October 5th and reported missing to the Nanaimo RCMP on Wednesday October, 10th.

Cook is reportedly experiencing significant personal issues and her support network is concerned for her personal safety and well-being.

Nanaimo RCMP has released video showing Cook at the Value Lodge Motel on Nicol Street on Friday, October 5th

Her boyfriend told investigators he was in a taxi when he saw Cook walking by herself along Terminal Ave towards Esplanade Ave, in the downtown core of Nanaimo.

At that time, Cook was wearing a grey/black hoodie, black 3/4 length Nike pants and sandals, and carrying a white purse.

She is Metis with short black hair, 5 ft. 5, and weighs approximately 140 pounds.
