Police searching for missing Saanich family believed to be in eastern B.C. or Alberta

Police in Saanich are asking the public for help in locating a family that been missing for days.

According to the Saanich Police Department, Bradley Michael Cook, 42, and Melissa Renee Trost, 40, along with their two young children, failed to return home to Saanich on Sept. 4 and their current location is unknown.

Saanich PD said it is possible the family is in eastern British Columbia or Alberta camping and towing a trailer.

The family owns a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup truck with Alberta licence plate number CCX-1573 as well as a 2017 Nissan Murano with Alberta plate number BZP-9388.

Cost. Markus Anastasiades of the Saanich PD said the department is worried and wants to ensure the family is safe as they have not communicated their whereabouts to anyone.

Anyone with information about the family’s whereabouts or sees either vehicle is asked to contact 911 immediately.
