An oceanfront estate on the west shore of the Saanich Peninsula has been sold at a record-setting price for North Saanich.

Sotheby’s International Realty announced the luxury Ardmore Hall at 9344 Ardmore Drive has been purchased for $9 million dollars, the most expensive home to date in North Saanich.

It is also the highest residential sale in Greater Victoria since 2006.

The home was listed for $10.5 million.

There are two dwellings at the location, with the main residence measuring 9,359 square-feet and a 1,981 square-foot guest home.

A theatre, karaoke room, mahogany library and gym are among the many state-of-the-art features of the home that was built in 2007.

The property tax in 2016 for Ardmore Hall was $38,328.

The listing agent is Sotheby’s Logan Wilson.

Sotheby’s says it has sold the three most expensive homes in Greater Victoria since 2006.
