Do you want to be the king of the world? Or at least king of a winery?

The Beaufort Vineyard and Estate Winery, owned by James Cameron, the director of Avatar, Titanic, Aliens and The Terminator, is up for sale for $5.6 million.

Cameron, who grew up in Chippawa, Ont., bought the Beaufort Vineyard and Estate Winery north of Courtenay in February 2014 for $2.7 million.

The 84-acre property, includes the winery, tasting room, wine bar and workshop, implement shed, a processing barn and winery residence. There’s also walking, riding and horse trails nearby.

Beaufort became the first organically-certified vineyard on Vancouver Island in September 2019.
