According to DriveBC, a vehicle incident at the Rupert Main, 11 kilometres south of Port Hardy, has resulted in the closure of Highway 19 in both directions.

According to DriveBC, Highway 19 has reopened following a single-vehicle incident at the Rupert Main, 11 kilometres south of Port Hardy, which had resulted in the closure of the road in both directions.

Port Hardy Fire Rescue told CHEK News they responded to the incident but have since left and that the scene has now been turned over to Port Hardy RCMP.

They would not confirm whether there were any injuries.
