The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Colorado Avalanche are facing off in the 2022 Stanley Cup final.

Down 1-0 in the best-of-seven series, the Lightning are trying to become the first team to three-peat since the New York Islanders won four straight titles from 1980-83. The Lightning are also the first team since Wayne Gretzky’s Edmonton Oilers from 1983-85 to reach the final in three consecutive years.

Should they win, Tampa Bay would pass the New Jersey Devils and move into a tie for sixth place for the most Stanley Cups won by a franchise.
