Forecast: Clouds and showers return by Tuesday afternoon

A series of frontal bands will start to roll in by Tuesday and bring showers to the South Island and rain to the mid and North Island for the balance of the week. Tonight expect a partly cloudy sky with low temps dipping to 4 and a risk of low lying frost. Tuesday starts cloudy and then showers pick up by the afternoon with high’s of 12. Wednesday the unsettled showery pattern continues.
