WATCH: It was a blustery day across Vancouver Island as the first in a series of storms crossed the south coast of the province.
Environment Canada issued wind warnings for much of the Island as the system approached Monday.
Conditions will be calmer overnight, but expect another windy, rainy day Tuesday as yet another storm front reaches the region.
