
Emergency crews attended to a multi-vehicle crash on the Trans Canada Highway Monday night in View Royal.
The incident happened sometime around 8:30 p.m. in the northbound lane, just west of Six Mile Road.
Three vehicles appeared to be involved in the incident and there was extensive damage, which included a tire left lying on the highway.
Several West Shore RCMP and ambulance crews arrived, and multiple people were transported to the hospital.
West Shore RCMP is investigating and have not said what caused the crash, how severe injuries are and if it is weather-related.
Traffic was limited in the northbound lane shortly after the collision but has fully opened.
