Ed’s Forecast: Wind warning for the north Island and lots of rain on the way

An intense low will drive in a moisture-laden system Tuesday and bring southeastern winds of 70-90 km/h for the North Island. Expect the rain to begin overnight with lows of 5 C and continue tomorrow with about 20 millimetres possible. Another trailing system will keep things wet again Wednesday.
