Ed’s Forecast: Rain and Wind on the way tonight and Friday

WATCH: A large front will whip up the wind and get the rain going overnight and into Friday.

A wind warning is posted for east Vancouver Island Friday with southeast wind expected to be near 90 kilometres an hour. Expect rain to start late tonight with lows of 6 C. Friday will be wet with strong southeast wind gusting at times to 70 km/hr and highs around 11. Some clearing will develop for Saturday.
