Ken Motherwell recently won a $675,000 top prize on a scratch and win ticket.
An avid traveller from Duncan is planning to take even more trips after winning a $675,000 prize on a Set for Life Scratch and Win ticket.
Ken Motherwell was at home in Duncan when he scratched the ticket and discovered he had won.
“I bought ten tickets, and my wife bought two,” said Motherwell. “I was scratching my second ticket and I told her she needs to grab her glasses and come look at my ticket. We both started screaming.”
Motherwell then went down to Cobble Hill Grocery to get his ticket scanned.
“The girls validated it and they were like ‘Oh my God’ and we all took a picture together,” Motherwell said.
Motherwell and his wife love travelling and are planning to take even more trips with their prize money.
“We want to go to Belize and then maybe an African Safari,” Motherwell said. “We have a motorhome and we plan to do more travelling in the U.S. with it when the weather is warmer
“It’s really amazing. I’m very happy about this and, of course, very grateful.”
